Senior Care Associates was founded in 1994 by Executive Director Linda Aufderhaar, a licensed clinical social worker, and is one of Northern Virginia’s most experienced private care management practices. Linda is a nationally recognized leader in the field of geriatric care management. The practice consists of exceptionally skilled and compassionate care managers utilizing a nursing and social work team approach which is client-centered and provides proactive solutions to care issues and concerns. Our practice was founded on the principal of providing the highest quality of care, advocacy and support to the clients and families we serve.


SENIOR CARE ASSOCIATES STAFF CAN :

  • Perform a comprehensive assessment of a client's health, mental health, psychosocial, functional, financial, and legal issues and provide recommendations for solutions to address identified problems or concerns
  • Development of an individualized, cost-effective care plan
  • Provide short or long-term consultation for caregivers living near or far away
  • Family support and counseling
  • Assist with transitions in care including a move to or from a retirement community, assisted living community or nursing home
  • Provide consumer education and information on community resources and costs
